I found the hotel very underwhelming and disappointing. I had my daughter traveling with me and thought it would be a nice hotel. We tried to order room service the first night and could not get an answer. I finally contacted the front desk, and they said they would get room service to call me. This went on a couple of times before the front desk told me they would go to the restaurant and ask. She called back and said, "I am sorry, they are really backed up and cannot get your order." This after an hour and a half back and forth. We went to bed without dinner. There is also a chemical fragrance when you enter the hotel, but it is horrible in the rooms, and it gave me a headache. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. I do not recommend this hotel.

Had a great time with my husband, 2 daughters, and two grand-children at the Westin Dallas Park Central. Parking garage self-park was easy to get in and out of, safe, and close entrance to Lobby. Staff at Registration and restaurant were all friendly and helpful. Oscar and Maria were both top notch servers in the Urban South Restaurant. We appreciated their hospitality and friendly conversation during our long, laid-back morning breakfasts while we took our time!! Our daughter added …Thanks to Westin Dallas Park Central for a wonderful stay with a lovely room with a great view of Downtown Dallas. My children enjoyed swimming in your pool and especially the changing colored lights in the pool at night. Your food in the Urban South Restaurant was delicious, especially at the breakfast buffet. Give my best to Maria and Oscar for their excellent service and kindness to my kids at breakfast. The gift shop was a big hit, too. And the Mother’s Day fresh roses you gave out to Moms was a lovely special added touch! The Mother’s Day balloons were also very festive to come down and see on Mother’s Day morning!

Everything was wonderful, I arrived Wednesday evening for a 5 night mini vacation to celebrate my birthday. On Friday and Saturday night I had an issue with the people in the room next to me. I had to complain multiple times, hotel security had to go to the room, etc. upon checkout I again mentioned the issue (to the third employee) and was basically brushed off. I am not someone to complain, I honestly never do. I just thought after reporting them TWICE to separate employees, and then asking if something could be done to 3 total employees, only for me to be brushed aside after spending so much money with them is just a little frustrating. I would not let this prevent you from staying though. I am just not very demanding, someone with a bit more force probably could have had better results than I did.

As an Ambassador elite I expected more sure I got an upgrade from the originally booked parlor suite but reception and service was abysmal. FDA didn’t say hello and was not very welcoming no personalized service no welcome gift no mention of status. The lights in the bedroom weren’t working so was the USB ports and electrical sockets by the bedside went down to the FD at 9:20ish called at 10:30ish before someone from maintenance came up at about 11ish. When I reported this to the FD I was told what do you want you want to change rooms or you want engineering to come fix it no apologies no making nice no pleasantries with the FD not even a smile.

I didn't enjoy my stay at the Westin. The shower was broken, the tv remote didn't work, the safe was not working and whenever I asked for help, no one would assist me or it would take maintenance forever to get back to me. Bartenders were rude and didn't want to help or were knowledgeable about the hotel information, they would look at me with a blank stare and say I don't know instead of trying to find out or guiding me to the right direction. Whenever I asked for wake up calls and on the first 2 days it was no problem but on the 3rd day asking for a wake up call the front desk made it impossible for them to wake me up the next day. They kept suggesting I use the TV and would not want to call me the next morning. I used the TV in the morning to wake me up and they didn't call me as a back up wake up call. Finally, the parking lot is terrible, small and very inconvenient to use.
